With vibrant colors, rhythmic beats, and the spirit of unity in diversity, Nalanda World School celebrated its grand Annual Carnival on 13th December 2024, embracing the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India through the theme "हमारी सभ्यता, हमारी धरोहर".
The school campus transformed into a cultural kaleidoscope where the essence of India’s glorious past and present was brought to life by the enthusiastic participation of the students. From the snowy peaks of Kashmir to the sandy shores of Tamil Nadu, from the folk dances of Gujarat to the tribal art of Odisha—each state was uniquely represented through colorful stalls, traditional music, dance, food, attire, and artifacts.
✨ Highlights of the Carnival:
- 🎭 Cultural Pavilions – Students showcased the rich traditions, festivals, and lifestyles of various Indian states through beautifully designed exhibitions.
- 🍛 Regional Food Stalls – A delightful variety of regional cuisines tickled the taste buds of all visitors.
- 🎨 Art & Craft Corners – Traditional art forms like Madhubani, Warli, Pattachitra, and more were creatively displayed by students.
- 💃 Live Performances – Folk dances, musical performances, and short skits reflected the soulful rhythm of India’s heritage.
- 📸 Heritage Photo Booths – Themed backdrops allowed visitors to click pictures in traditional costumes from different regions.
The event not only provided entertainment but also served as an educational journey, instilling pride and awareness among the students and visitors about the diverse yet united spirit of India.
